I hope I haven’t overlooked this feature—if I have, please ignore this request.
It would be great if the Portal app could import data structures from OpenAPI definitions instead of requiring users to create them manually. Ideally, these definitions could be fetched directly from a tagged Git repository so that available versions can be detected automatically.
The background is that we work with APIs from various device manufacturers, and many of them are already available in a machine-readable format. They therefore „only“ need to be converted into the appropriate format.
As an example, we are currently importing traffic data from Telraam sensors using the API definition available here:

In der Portal-App wäre es cool, wenn man statt selbsterstellter Datenstrukturen diese z.B. aus openAPI-Definitionen importieren kann. Idealerweise werden diese bereits aus einem getaggten git-Repository gezogen, so dass Versionen direkt ausgelesen werden können.
Hintergrund sind diverse APIs von verschiedenen Geräteherstellern, die bereits maschinenlesbar vorliegen und daher „nur“ in das richtige Format gebracht werden müssen.
